The primary function of the Logistics Administrator (Quality) is to ensure our suppliers are alerted of all parcels being sent, with details such as arrival time, parcel type, volume and more – this is know as a ‘pre-alert’, essentially a heads up of what’s on the way!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pulling data from various sources, entering that into our system which begins the onward journey and tracking.
  • Liaising with Customers and Suppliers where appropriate.
  • Liaising with our warehouses to ensure accurate information is provided to notify our Suppliers, reporting any concerns to the Quality Retail Team Leader.
  • Pulling data from various areas of our in-house system and combining with the information shared by our warehouse to notify suppliers of incoming parcel volume, known as a ‘pre-alert’ on our road and air solutions.
  • Updating our in-house system with ‘export entries’, showing proof of export of origin.

Skills & Experience

  • An understanding of the eCommerce industry and its core principles is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great time-management and multi-tasking skills to manage and prioritise workload
  • Keen eye for detail

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000.00 per year
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend overtime availability

Supplemental pay types: Bonus scheme
